Speaker

Andy Simpson, Managing Director, Angus 3D Solutions

Andy founded Angus 3D Solutions Ltd in 2017 to bring the benefits of Additive Manufacturing to the Oil & Gas industry and other industries in the North East.

Andy will look at how the Oil & Gas Industry can benefit from adopting this technology and help influence the future development of it. At this session he aims to remove some of the miss-conceptions of this technology and will pose the following questions:

  • Is Additive Manufacturing the technology to be used for all of the futures manufacturing needs?

  • How does this technology fit alongside today’s traditional manufacturing methods?

  • What is Direct and Indirect 3d Printing?
