The Oil & Gas Technology Centre has a key role to play in terms of maximising the economic recovery from the UK North Sea, anchoring the supply chain to the North East of Scotland achieving an international technology base for the long term and ensuring the retention of high value jobs in the region and the UK.

The aim is for the Oil & Gas Technology Centre and the North East of Scotland to be:

Communications Coordinator

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Communications Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing quality, impactful content across various external channels to communicate the activities of the Technology Centre, engage key stakeholders, and inform and educate industry about technologies and their application within the oil and gas industry.

Project Engineer

If you are an enthusiastic and driven individual who thrives in a fast paced environment, then this could be the role for you. Working across all solution centres, you will facilitate the Identification, development and deployment of appropriate technologies which contribute to the successful delivery of the solution centre objectives You will collaborate closely with others to develop and manage a diverse range of stakeholder organisations including universities, oil and gas operators and service companies with the ultimate aim of delivering the technology agenda for the Oil and Gas technology Centre.

Technical Assistant - Projects

If you are an enthusiastic and driven individual and thrive on working on some of the most exciting and varied projects in the oil and gas sector, then this could be the role for you. Working across all our Solution Centres, your role will be to provide technical support to our teams. To be successful in this role, you will have excellent attention to detail and an ability to work collaboratively across organisations. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.

Accountant

We have an exciting opportunity for an Accountant to join the finance team. Reporting to the Finance and Commercial Director, you will provide Accounting and Commercial Support to the Technology Centre. You will be a qualified Accountant and will have a proven background in management and financial accounting . You will also have a comprehensive knowledge of accounting policies, including international accounting standards.

Personal Assistant

Your organisational and administrative talents will play a vital role in ensuring our Company runs smoothly and professionally. Whether you’re organising meetings and diaries, managing information and records, booking travel or looking after our visitors, this varied role will definitely keep you busy.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in a PA/Admin Support role and will have first class organisational and time management skills with a proven ability to multi-task. You will be highly IT literate, proficient using MS Office suite, Intermediate/Advanced Power Point skills. A flexible approach is key - we’re a small team with big goals and that means a one team approach is essential.
